Absolute freedom implies absolute responsibility,that means absolute response totally to the problem.And one cannot possibly respond totally, if one has not learnt to live a life in which love,death,everybody living are deeply - not verbally -understood.

NOTTINGHAM IS KEEPING IT FRESH.

http://www.thenewartexchange.org.uk/

NEW ART EXCHANGE has slowly become my office as i have no internet installed yet, on my daily walk into the town centre i make my daily stop for a big mug of green tea with cranberry!!

if i am not sat on one of the tables then keep walking, then i'm most certainly at nottingham contemporary, this has to be nottingham's best investments for the arts in the city in the last 4 years!!

the cafe is great with free wifi and hosts a little quirky arts and craft market one sunday a month, where you can find loads of graduate designer from Trent Uni showing new lil treats they just finished the night before.

I am in rehearsal with both groups at the moment and they are working so hard i am sure it is going to be a very good performance.

This is an exciting project for me at the moment working within theatre, it does have its challenges but i eventually find new ways to overcome them and thats the exciting part..

A Sunday Morning with Blueberry Pancakes.

I did a very exciting workshop with Liat Waysbort in the sprng of 2010 the Amsterdam Dance Centre, Liat was  a founding member of the Batsheva Dance Company but since leaving she has gone on to investigate her own work. The workshop was really cool and it was during this workshop i did my first GAGA class...

Take a look at some of Liat's Lab work;

Taking Freelance to the screen.

I love to move and i love colour, so when i was approached to be a subject for the USA AOL advert i jumped at the chance. The whole experience was so fantastic and the creative director had a great eye for creativity and new ideas, we both got on really well on the day and had a good laugh i was even able to   suggest a few  ideas.

I managed to take a few pictures whilst i was in set, enjoy!!

Studio.

Q. what happens when a designer and two trained dancers share the studio space?
This week this is exactly what i have been investigating, I have just finished a  short but fantastic residency at Nottingham's Dance 4, with two  fantastic and creative  artist Kate Prosser & Samantha Stonefield.

I found this really cool website, it was recommended to me by a girl called Amy who is studying Architecture in Leeds, who i  randomly bump into three times in one week whilst we both was in the initial research stage for our current projects.

Enjoy!
